I was born and raised in Monahans, Texas until moving to Van Horn, Texas at 5th grade. After my dad died in an airplane accident in Van Horn, Texas my mother and I moved to Austin and from Austin to Odessa where I finished high school at Odessa High. I married in l958 before graduating and had 2 children: Brandon Sinclair, and Xan (now) Koonce, who both live in Texas. Divorsed in 1967 ... remarried in 1981 to Harvey Gray. We have 4 children combined with now 9 grandchildren (no great grand children at this date). I love to travel, paint, garden, and just love Life! Graduated from UTPB in 1975 with a BA degree in Art Education. I taught art education from K-7th grade in: Odessa, Midland, Austin, Texas and Atlanta, Ga for a combined total of 18 years. Retired in 2005. My husband owns his own Environmental Business and still works. I sometimes help but do a lot of volunteer work and teach Sunday School...and enjoy our home. It is my present canvas that I work on continually. We have a precious pet, Sophie, a rescue German Shepherd dog. That is enough for a lifetime. Updated 04/23/09.. |
