Married John Everett Worthen January 7th 1961 in Odessa, Texas. He was in the Navy so we spent the next 21 years traveling around the country and was 4 years in Philippines. Have two grown Sons, David E and John W. David is living in Georgia and is completely disabled due to two stokes. He is married but no children. John W. Is a Army Career man. Will retire with 21 years in service this year. Married. No children. John and Myself moved to Eufaula, Ok in 1982 when he retired from the Navy after almost 22 years. We are both completely retired now and enjoy travel around the country and doing catchup with family that lives in other states. Updated 06/30/08. |

I spoke with Barbara's aunt a few days ago. She can't remember Barbara's married name, but she said that Barbara had cancer and died in Cross Plains about 10 years ago. She told me that Barbara's daughter's names were Becky and Susan, but she couldn't remember their last names either. Maybe she will get in touch with them and call me back. Married to Royce Maxey June 1961. One son Weslie born February 20, 1963. Wes was married & had his own business. He was in a car wreck Feb. 9, 1986, in the hospital sixteen months. After he was released, his wife did not want to live with him & brought him home. Royce passed away in April of 1999. In order to keep my son with me I started my own Delivery business on Aug. 3, 1993. He goes with me every day. I graduated on Friday, went to work on Monday, and worked every since then. On August 3, 1993 I started my own business "Trudy's Delivery Service". And still haven't retired. I keep saying when I reach seventy I'm going to for sure(two more years) but who knows, GOD is the only one who knows the future.Two dogs, Baxter & DeeDee. Long haired Dachshunds. Dr. Sarah Sue Leopold West July 16, 2013 Sarah Sue West, 72, passed away at her home Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Services were held under the care of Richardson’s Benson Mortuary at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013, with interment in Cochise Gardens of Rest, Benson, Ariz. She was born March 30, 1941 to Drs. Norman and V. Mae Leopold in Odessa, Texas. After graduating from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, she served a residency in Pediatrics in Grand Rapids, Mich. Initially, she practiced Pediatrics in Tucson and later in Benson. She took early retirement due to health problems. March 29, 1984, she married Fred West in Benson, Ariz. She was mother to Angela Leopold West, stepmother to Michel West and Tawnya West Boe, and grandmother to Elisha, Zoe and Tobias West. She is survived by her husband, her children, grandchildren and a brother, Dr. David Leopold (Judith) of Sierra Vista, Ariz. and sister, Adair Carlyle (David) of Odessa, Mo. Sue was a member of Oasis Foursquare Church, Sierra Vista. She participated in short-term mission service at The House of Samuel in Tucson. Sue truly loved her Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength and her neighbor as herself. |

have been married 48 years to Coy Wendell Nelson. We have three
children, Darren Lewis Nelson (spouse Becky); Teresa Ruby Landry (spouse
Lance); and Stephen Coy Nelson (spouse Jessica) and five grandchildren,
Zachary Nelson, Taylor Nelson, Jake Nelson, Laurel Landry and Thomas
Landry, and our son Stephen and Jessica are expecting their first baby in
October. We also have a sweet Sheltie named Brandy who is 11 years
old. My hobbies are reading, traveling, playing bridge, eating out with
friends and keeping grandchildren. I retired in June 2008 from Duncanville
ISD with 27 years experience. I was an elementary school secretary
for four years and a bookkeeper for the Career and Technology Department
for 23 years. I presently serve as Treasurer for DARSE (Duncanville Area
Retired School Employees). My husband and I have been members of the
Duncanville Church of Christ over 37 years. Our three children all
graduated from Duncanville High School. Darren is a board certified
emergency room physician in Arlington; Teresa is a CPA with Crow
Investments in Dallas; and Stephen teaches elementary physical education
and coaches golf in Dallas. We are fortunate to have them all living

 ODESSA Sharryon Dean Willmann, 71, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. She was born April 10, 1941, in Hobbs, N.M., to Web and Dean Longino. She is survived by her mother; brother, Jimmy Longino and wife Joyce of Odessa; daughters, Christi Owens of Litchfield Park, Arizona and Cathi Echols and Husband Randy of Odessa; grandchildren, Ashley Owens, Stacey Motley and husband Aaron, Kyle Owens and wife Stephanie, Elizabeth Goetz, Katie Goetz, Alesha Echols, Lindsay Sheaffer and husband Gavin, Brooke Rapp and husband Tim, and seven precious great-grandkids; niece, Julie Salmon and Husband Tommy; nephew, Jeff Longino and wife Rebecca. She is preceded in death by her father; baby, Stacey Whiteley; daughter, Kelli Willmann; sister in law, Judy Longino. Sharryon was raised in Odessa where she grew up with many wonderful, life-long friends. As a young adult she left Odessa for Arizona, where she developed a great love for the mountains. However, she eventually returned home to the flatlands of Odessa. She loved reading and had a true thirst for knowledge. While in her 40's she returned to school and received her degree in psychology. She worked at MHMR before returning to school yet again and receiving her teaching certificate. She taught special needs children in Kermit and Odessa during which time she was awarded "Teacher of the Year." She was an avid volunteer. She donated her time and resources to many organizations. One of her favorites was Mission Odessa where she shared the love of Jesus with the kids of Odessa. Sharryon was a God fearing, strong, independent woman. She led by example, practiced what she preached and knew beauty was only skin deep. She was always on the side of the underdog and had a great desire to right the wrongs of the world. Mind your P's and Q's Sharryon and know you are loved and greatly missed. Memorial services will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 4PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev.
