Hobbies: weaving, spinning, quilting, knitting, gardening, antique hunting, reading, genealogy, computers, and my family, all in my spare time! RN, BSN, PHN graduate of CSUDH. My husband and I manufacture a custom-made touring motorcycle seat for BMW and Honda and other touring MC's and ship all over the world-a truly fun business that allows us to mix business and pleasure every day. In addition to the other bio info you have on file, I was widowed in 2000. Last year (2008) my Mother moved from Odessa (via Corpus Christi) to live with me. She is such a blessing in my life. We both will always be devoted native Texans and we look forward to my 50th reunion to renew old friendships. I continue to work as the Case Manager/Utilization Review nurse for a 76 bed hospital-also have multiple other jobs, which is necessary at a small hospital. Can truly say this is the most rewarding place I have ever been employed--it is truly a family environment, which has given me strength to get through some of life's low points. Updated 02/24/09. |

Divorced longer than married. I have 1 very precious & handsome son who has lived in Maui, HI for over 8 years, about the same in Oregon. Windsurfing started his wandering, and I have enjoyed visiting those places. No bio. grandchildren, but do have a couple that I semi adopted. I enjoy the arts & consider myself a closet watercolorist. Love to travel! I have a cat, (what single woman doesn't), only because she was deathly sick & blocking my drive into the garage. I re-entered the workforce in 1977 (necessity). Worked in Midland & Odessa until I joined FDIC in the fall of 1983. Relocated to Jackson, MS, Oklahoma City & finally Dallas in 1987. My division is one that has the dubious task of closing & liquidating banks once they have been declared insolvent. "Planes, trains & automobiles" is a true story for us. Getting to some of the remote locations was usually the major hurdle. On the other side, Hawaii was not bad! My plans are to work through 2005 & retired to Odessa, hopefully with enough money to travel! Updated 06/10/09. |

 My current wife (Kathy) and I have been married 30 years. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren (5 boys and 1 girl).We live in Rio Rancho, NM, which is just on the western edge of Albuquerque. Rio Rancho is now the third largest city in New Mexico. I spend 38 years in Public Education. Five as a teacher, 14 as a principal and 17 as Director of Personnel for 2,100 employees.I served and lived on the Navajo Indian Reservation, North of Gallup, NM, for 12 years and served in Gallup for many of those other years. I did spend 9 years as a Middle School principal in Yukon, OK. We have a travel trailer and spend as much of our time as possible, camping, fishing and doing outdoor photography. I make custom greeting cards from my photos and sell them at craft fairs, etc. Update 04/11/09.

 Married classmate Barbara Aust's sister, Carolyn Aust, 06/08/62; have 4 children: Keith (1963), Michael (1967), DeJana (1969), son Jody (1972); 9 grandchildren & 1 step-grandson; Keith (2), Michael (3), DeJana (2) & Jody (2 plus 1 step) ages 4 months to 24 years of age. The grandchildren are my greatest hobby, but I enjoy traveling & gardening. I have always been active in my church over the years in California as well as in Texas; played trumpet in the church in Torrance, CA for 17 years. My major career job was with Continental Airlines, moving from Odessa in Sep 1967 to become the first computer operator for the first automated reservations system in the airline industry - later became Manager of Computer Operations. When it became evident that CAL was going to go bankrupt again in 1988, I left. Then after several management jobs in both CA & TX, I am now working Front Desk for a large Cardiology group in NW Houston, the most perfect job for a retired person! Update 04/03/09. |

I am married to Alvin M. Otte (OHS class of '57). We have been married since 1961. We have 5 children-4 boys and 1 girl (Marc, Julie, Bill, Paul, and John). The youngest is 21. Our oldest son has 3 children(2 boys and a girl). I have a BS degree in Elementary Education. I have taught 4th grade and Pre-K (4 year olds). I am teaching Pre-K at Godley Elementary in the small town of Godley at the present time. I go by my middle name--- Lou. Updated 09/03/04. |

 Married to Don for 50!! years.We have two daughters and nine grandchildren. Donella & Butch live in Odessa and have three children. Cheri & Bill live in Lubbock and have six children. There is always some activity to attend! Don and I have been traveling with some of Don's high school buddies and their wives. I spend alot of time working in the
yard, but I am not a master gardener like some in our class members. Our Sunday
school class is full of OHS grads. There are lots of interesting stories! Donella and I work with autistic children several times a month during the
Sunday school hour. What a blessing it is for us! I retired fom teaching in 2002 after 29 years, but I am still working as a tutor for ECISD. For the last two years I have worked at the same school where I taught and Donella teaches. That also has been a blessing. It has been nice to see classmates that I never knew in school and get to know them now. They are really a great group of friends. It is interesting to hear their stories and what they are doing now.
